Mechanical Pump Seal is a small device which is used to prevent the leakage from the gap in between the rotor and the stationary hub. It is highly beneficial in case when a hydraulic machine deals with the transportation of corrosive and toxic chemical fluids to prevent and accident due to leakage. It also helps to maintain the pressure and fluid flow and do not resists the rotational motion of the rotor. Mechanical Pump Seal is considered as one of the most effective solution for the heavy duty pumps. It consist of various different components such as a primary rotating ring, stainless steel spring, elastomeric bellow and a stationary mating ring with an elast6omer cup.
